Q.Where are the Rail offices and manufacturing locations? 
A.

Corus has offices and manufacturing sites in the UK and France. The principle Rail Products manufacturing sites are in Scunthorpe, UK and Hayange, France. The commercial offices for Rail Products are located in Scunthorpe, UK and Saint Germain, France. Rail Technologies is based in Rotherham.

The Railway Infrastructure Services head office is located in York. Other offices can be found in Manchester and Birmingham, UK and Katowice, Poland. Joint venture business Corus Cogifer is located in Scunthorpe.

Q.What is the structure of the Rail team at Corus? 
A.

The Rail team is part of the Long Products Division of Corus. It is sub-divided into main market-focused operating units. These are:

  • Rail Products (including Rail Technologies)
  • Railway Infrastructure Services (including Modular Systems)

Each operating unit has its own management team. In addition, Corus holds a 50% stake in Joint Venture business, Corus Cogifer.
