Corus to launch new rail product innovation at Innotrans

Corus and selected partners will be launching the new innovative Silent Track product at Innotrans 2004 (September 21 and 26), the International Trade Fair on Transport.

Silent Track is a unique system that has been developed to deliver performance benefits to railway operators and to meet European noise legislation.

Corus will be exhibiting in the Bahn-Bau section of the exhibition in Hall 26C. The full range of Corus' rail products and railway infrastructure services will also be on display with particular focus given to:

Rail Product innovations:

Micro Head Hardened rail (MHH) this rail has been developed to enhance the life of rail in track thereby providing performance and cost saving benefits.

Urban capabilities Corus has developed Sogenox, an innovative product with anti wear and anti screech properties, which has been specifically designed for tramways. A range of other profiles suited for tramways will also be exhibited.

Modular platform innovations - The innovative modular platform solution will be on show at this event, a model to scale demonstrates the flexibility and construction of the system.

Railway Infrastructure Services a wide range of services including: design consultancy and technical consultancy will complement the rail products on display.
